When I said you drove me insane...
that you were a waste of time...
When I wished you never existed...
or that I had never met you...
All right, I may have lied...

When I told you I despised you...
that the sight of you made me ill inside...
And I told you that my life would
sound so much better without your name...

As we grew through a couple more years,
I said you were stupid for my stuff you tried to hide...
When you cried, I called you a wimp and to get away from me...
I told you that you weren't wanted- that no one cared about you...
All right, I may have lied...

Jealousy... Envy... such horrible things...
that influence words that never are what we truly mean...
I've learned this over years of loss, pain and cries...
Please, for all those hurtful things I said,
Forgive me, I lied...
