Two days...

So here it comes,
the day all men dread.
It's creator certainly did not know what would come,
surely, somewhere, someone has his head.

However, here it is,
two days away.
Though, I'm not hard to please.
I'm a cheap date, they say.

Its obvious why.
I shouldn't have to tell.
Because you're the guy
who knows me so well.

Simple things please me.
You don't have to gift me on this day.
All I want, all I need
is your smile aimed my way.

Even though you're far away
my heart stays with you.
I'm working hard
so you can be happy, too.

So when you get the chance,
not stuck in a raid.

and my day would be made.
